| Cedar Valley Scottish Country Dancers |
The Cedar Valley Scottish Country Dancers were established in May of 2011 under the direction of Karen Potter. Karen was a former member of RSCDS - Central Iowa Branch from 1998 to 2001. She began teaching Scottish Country Dancing in her home the Fall of 2010. The Cedar Valley Scottish Country Dancers are located in Cedar Falls, Iowa and encompass nearby communities in Northeast Iowa, commonly referred to as the Cedar Valley. We are a group of people who get together to dance and to promote the enjoyment of Scottish Country Dancing and Celtic Music. Classes were previously held from April through August 2011 at The Waterloo Center for the Arts. Classes are NOW being held each Friday night (unless otherwise announced) from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Potter's home in Cedar Falls. You may contact us at (319) 266-5257. Beginners are welcome! No partner nor previous experience is needed! Nor do you need to be Scottish!
